1. Pick a film from the list of three.
2. Watch that film a second time.
3. Pick a five-minute extract from the film which I think demonstrates a crucial moment in the film's story.
4. Make notes on why this moment is important, and how meaning is created by the use of camera, lighting, etc.
5. Write this in script form and rehearse it.
6. Time my presentation and see if it is over or under the ten minute mark.
7. Watch the extract again and add or reduce information accordingly.
8. Prepare the notes that I will take with me to the presentation.
